Dance skirts and tutus bring movement, colour and performance energy to any dancer's wardrobe. From floral wrap skirts to sparkle mesh styles, this range covers class, rehearsal and stage.
Styles for Every Type of Dancer
Ballet students, contemporary dancers and performers all have different needs. This collection covers them.
- Wrap skirts and overlay skirts for everyday class wear
- Mesh and sparkle skirts for performance and concert looks
- Attached skirt leotards for a streamlined, fuss-free fit
- Floral and pattern designs for solos, eisteddfods and showcases
Sizing Tips for Skirts and Tutus
Skirt sizing is not always the same as leotard sizing. Keep these points in mind.
- Wrap skirts are adjustable at the waist, so they suit a wider size range
- Attached skirt leotards follow standard leotard sizing. Measure your child's height, weight and chest
- Adults should check waist and hip measurements against the size guide for each style
- If your dancer is between sizes in a child's style, size up for room to move
What to Wear Them With
Most skirts layer easily over a leotard or unitard. Pair a floral overlay skirt with a plain leotard to keep the focus on the skirt design. Sparkle mesh styles work well under stage lighting and photograph beautifully. The Ava leotard with attached skirt is a great option for younger dancers whose skirts tend to shift during class.
Caring for Dance Skirts
- Cold machine wash or hand wash to protect mesh and sparkle fabrics
- Lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid the dryer for styles with tulle or glitter overlays
- Store folded loosely rather than compressed to keep skirts shaped
